Hi, I’m Meghan. I’m a counsellor, trained journalist, and community activist. You could say I’ve made a life out of crafting the right questions, but I’m someone who genuinely loves hearing people’s stories.

For a long time, I navigated my own stories—including childhood cancer and later, infertility—quietly and largely in my own head. When my fertility journey ended and I began to speak openly about the experience, I was struck by how many people reached out just to connect and share their own paths. I realized then that my lived experience was a bridge, and that I wanted to provide the genuine, hard-won understanding I wish I’d had when I needed someone to talk to.

Now, I help clients reclaim and take ownership of the stories they’re living. My goal is to help you move toward clarity, confidence, and a greater sense of control in your life.

Say More Therapy & Wellness

‘Say More’ is about giving space to the experiences we’re often taught to keep quiet: identity shifts, changes in your support system, loneliness, grief, and the complex tension between mind and body. It’s about honouring what has gone unseen, unheard, or unspoken.

The Approach

My practice is built from a relational and solution-focused lens, integrating Person-Centred, Gestalt, and CBT to meet your specific needs. This foundation is supported by Narrative Therapy techniques, which help us look at the stories you’ve been told—and those you tell yourself—to identify your unique strengths and capacity for change. Together, we work to ensure your therapy is both a space for deep listening and a workshop for real, values-aligned shifts in your life.

How we work is shaped by what feels most helpful for you: if you want journaling prompts and skills practice to work on between sessions, you got it. If you’d rather use the hour to just talk things through, we’ll do that.

Areas of Focus

I have particular experience supporting young adults and youth (16+) navigating life transitions, newcomers to Canada adjusting to acculturation stress, and people dealing with complex health issues, including infertility and reproductive trauma.

Insurance & Fees

Sessions are offered at a flat fee of $150 and I can direct bill for most insurance plans. Please contact your insurance provider before our first meeting to confirm your coverage for counselling services.

If this resonates with you, let’s chat. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can see if we’re a good fit to work together.
